This training will introduce kindergarten teachers to the 95% Group Phonemic Awareness Intervention Resource (PAIR), an evidence-based program designed to strengthen students’ foundational reading skills through systematic phonemic awareness instruction. During the session, teachers will learn how to implement targeted lessons that help students hear, identify, and manipulate individual sounds in spoken words—critical skills for early reading success. The training will include an overview of the Phonemic Awareness Suite, instructional routines, and strategies for small-group intervention to support students who need additional practice in developing phonemic awareness. If you want to utilize 95% PAIR for intervention, you must attend the training.
