Participants will learn about the Silicon Valley Mathematics Initiative (SVMI) and practice scoring in rounds, building a shared understanding of student work and expectations. This session is targeted for Kindergarten–2nd grade teachers, as they will be using SVMI common assessments this year, but it is open to all grade levels because SVMI is a valuable part of the PLC process. This foundational session is required before attending Parts 2 or 3. Open to all, but necessary for K-2 Common Assessments
