The Riverside County SELPA LRE Decision Tree is a structured tool designed to support IEP teams in making legally compliant, student-centered placement decision. Grounded in the principles of LRE under IDEA, the decision tree guides teams through a systematic process that begins with consideration of general education with appropriate supports and services. It emphasizes the use of supplementary aides, services, and accommodations before considering a more restrictive setting.
