This training is mandatory for teachers before they administer the DIBELS reading screener. In accordance with California Education Code Section 53008, school districts are required to assess students in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade for risk of reading difficulties using a state-approved universal screening instrument. This training will provide our K-2 and RSP teachers with the knowledge necessary to administer the required DIBELS Reading Screener assessments. Please join us to learn about the DIBELS platform and assessment administration prior to our first assessment window. A follow up training will be hosted in October/November to learn how to analyze and respond to student data.
